"If you were a part of a bicycle, which part would you be and why?"
Handle bar because someone riding a bicycle without a handle bar would just crash into anything in front of them.
The most difficult question in the prefect interview was made by Ina and Gui. Whilst we were discussing which role I had applied for and which ideas I had for the future of the school, they said: "make me laugh".
I hesitated for a couple of seconds and the only thing that came to my mind was Gui's performance on Mr and Mrs BRAMUN last year. At the time it was very funny, however, I was not able to make them laugh, as they had required. The most humiliating aspect of this situation was that they forced their giggle...
“Tell us something we don’t know”
I don't really remember exactly what I said, but it was about something personal regarding my great-grandmother.
"Make me laugh."
I began to explain the theory about how Finland doesn’t actually exist with more passion than I care to admit. Eventually I got a few chuckles, but I’m pretty sure they just felt bad for me and gave a pity laugh to make me feel better (it still counts).
"How do you portray yourself on social media?”
I said that I show myself to the world as being perfect, and my social media only shows the side of my life which is desirable, which is very unrealistic.
"Make me laugh."
I was caught by surprise and didn't give an answer. Instead, I became VERY red and started to stutter. At this point, they started laughing. They laughed at me, not with me… at least I got them to laugh…
“How would you integrate the Prep and Senior school through social media?”
“Um, I... Um, maybe... Wow, that’s a very good question. Very interesting concept.” (Followed by some nodding and stuttering.)
"Why should we pick you?"
You shouldn’t, you should pick however is best suited for the job, and that may not be me, I just hope it is.
"Make us laugh"
I responded with 'why do the british like tea so much? because tea LEAVES', which only made one of the interviewers laugh
"Tell me something I don’t know."
At first, I was going to talk about physics, then I realized that both Gui Werner and Ina take physics, so I ended up not answering anything.
