The school's International Day this year took place on Saturday the 27th of May, organized by the school's Parent and Teacher Association (PTA).
This year, the fair was so big that some of it took place in the field. There were also some presentations which were symbolic to each nationality, which was truly a treat for the public.
As always, a wide variety of food and accessories were sold, each particular to the different nationalities. The day was filled with music, food, fun, and friends. The blending of cultures gave the entire event a majestic feel.
The stalls where each country resided were each perfectly decorated with flowers, flags, patterned cloths, and ornaments, all of which were associated with a different culture. Each tent sold their nationality's signature food and accessories, to raise money for the school's PTA. There were little children selling baskets of food and water for different countries too, resulting in a youthful appeal for the participants.
The event was clearly a success, and it was a very entertaining evening. It was perfectly planned and executed, and, as you can see in the pictures above, everything was simply wonderful.
I'm excited to attend it next year!
