What does your role entail?

My role entails contributing to several branches of the school. Enrichment is a huge area ranging from sports to arts and even academics.

What was the most stressful part of the Prefect application process and why? 

The most stressful part of the application is selecting what you want to answer in each question. There's limited space and once you read the questions you will have several options, selecting the best one is extremely difficult. 

What is the most common misconception people have about the prefects? 

That it's not much work. Being a prefect requires true commitment and dedication. 

Why did you want to be a prefect? 

I wanted to advocate for positive changes within the St. Paul's community. 

What would you say to your 12-year-old self? 

Don't miss out on any of the opportunities presented, truly embrace and enjoy them. 

How does your Prefect role link to your future career? 

 I aspire to work with politics and sports management, enrichment links well with both. Helping organize activities and coordinate extracurriculars such as MUN. 

What was the hardest question they asked you in your interview? 

How to solve educational issues in Brazil with only 3 measures. 

What have the last few months as a Prefect taught you?

That something you may initially not picture yourself doing may in the end be something you truly enjoy. 

What is one thing you want to change in school?

I would like to enable students to take more iniciativa within enrichment activities and make them more student led as this is a great opportunity to develop independence. ​

Any advice for prospective prefects?

In order for you to fully understand your role you have to dive head in and get involved as much as possible. ​
