You may have been wondering how is a week in a life of a Prep student.
Monday
Monday, the slowest day of the week, starts with English, in which we learn how to improve writing skills (e.g.: scientific language, fronted adverbials and formal language). Next, we have break, the time that  you can bring or buy healthy snack, and then P.E.! Computing is another exclusive lesson we have on Mondays, since there is only one of them per week and we learn of the coolest topics: robotics. Lunch is, without doubt, the best part of the day, especially on Tuesdays and Fridays because we are allowed to eat deserts. In addition, on Fridays there is pasta or junk food once a month! After lunch, we have math, which is a very useful lesson when it comes to calculating. We also learn to collaborate with the partner sitting beside us. Finally, the we have Quality Circle Time, also known as QCT, which is amazing since we are encouraged to open our feelings without being judged.

Tuesday
Tuesday is the day of the week that we are usually well rested and confident. We start the day off with two special lessons: Portuguese and French. Portuguese gives us the fantastic opportunity to learn the history and geography from Brazil. On the other hand, it is hard to learn two languages simultaneously, since it affects our spelling and grammar mistakes. Although French only lasts half an hour, at least we have the opportunity to learn French that before was only available to the senior school. The topics in Prep 4 were Mission New Horizons, Go With The Flow, World War 2 and Fit For Life. These wonderful topics all have been an outstanding experience and the Prep 4’s wonder if the Prep 3’s will enjoy it to. Next there is break. A vital piece of information is that after break, students from Prep 3 onwards are allowed to go up to the building; however, the Prep 1’s and 2’s need to line up and led by a teacher. Later, we have English!

Wednesday
Wednesday is a rushed day for the Prep 4L pupils, since there is music lesson, led by Mrs.Fabris and Mrs.Dwyer, allowing us to use a lot of our creativity. Our first subject is Maths that we are currently learning line graphs, charts and worded problems. When it’s break time, everyone is happy as we eat our healthy snacks and have time to chat. Prep 4 classes then have Portuguese and we all agreed that it is the language we often use the most. Afterwards we have Music, which many people look forward to, and English, which happens to be two completely different lessons.

Thursday
Thursday is a very unique day since it starts off with Assembly (ASM) instead of a lesson, unlike the other weekdays. ASM is when a classroom creates a 20-30 minutes presentation for the whole Prep school and parents. Next, there is a Science lesson, in which students have the chance to do amazing experiments and learn to work collaboratively. The science classroom is the only one that has pets, which makes it extra special. There are around twenty snails that Mrs.De Mello bought and there is one turtle that was donated to the school by two students. Afterwards, we try our hardest not to get late to Portuguese and then we have lunch. Subsequently, we have a Maths, which is basically a synonym making new friends as it encourages us to work with people we are not used to.
Friday
Friday is everyone’s favourite day of the week, due to two reasons: Golden Time and because it’s last day of the school week. The day normally starts with Maths and straight after there is break and English. We then have P.E. and, after lunch, there is is Portuguese. Our last lesson is Art, which we gain not only artistic skills, but also learn the history of Art and stimulates our creativity, with the amazing Mrs. Hecker. Finally, we have Golden Time (GT) which unfortunately only lasts for thirty minutes, but gives us the opportunity to play games, chat and have fun.
