The Varsity Boys Futsal struggled to achieve their initial goals at the Inter 6 tournament this year and continue the legacy left two years ago, when the current L6s and the class of 2018 were champions.
Despite the absence of some key players from F5s and U6s due to their upcoming exams, the L6s and F4s were able to take in the responsibility. The effort that all players have put in in all games was great to see; particularly from the younger ones, which didn’t play as much in the SPHSL tournament, but at Rancho they were able to help our team!
St Paul’s played against British, PACA, Santanna, OLM and EAC. There was a very high level of commitment from our players in all games. However, we suffered with a lack of concentration in some games, which resulted in easy goals being scored from our opponents.
On a more positive note, the team would like to congratulate Arthur Schahin for winning both All-star and sportsmanship award as well as Felipe Schwartz, who scored 6 goals throughout the tournament!
