Recently, the Sixth Form Center (6FC) has gotten a new pet, who some might even consider a mascot. A rainy morning a couple of weeks ago this small golden looking cat appears magically in front of the Center’s entrance, humbly asking for shelter.
The sixth formers did not think twice, and allowed him to enter. Little did they know that this would become his second home. With his little collar giving him his name “Apollo”, he has the conquered the hearts for St. Paul’s students (most of them anyway).
Ever since, he wanders every morning into the 6FC and spends his days lingering around being petted by the students and sleeping on the sofas (as the pictures reveal) until night time when he returns to sleep in his safe haven. Recently, after some investigation (mainly just reading the number on his collar), we have found out about more his history. He was adopted by one of the houses neighbouring the school but he clearly like us more than them and they are ok with that.
The sixth formers have shown a true spirit of Lion love in embracing their new feline friend. We hope that he can continue to find shelter in the 6FC and that students continue to be so caring and loving towards him.
Do you want to meet Apollo? Swing by the center before or after school and you’ll find him for sure.
