Brief Project explanation:
The One Goal project was initially a project with the aim to promote and encourage sports to children with social disadvantages, as well as our whole community. However, due to these unusual circumstances, we decided to post-pone this idea and create a campaign within the One Goal project called "One Goal - Make a Difference". This campaign is designed specifically to make a difference now. For that, we began creating monthly goals in order to help the unprivileged. Every month we have a "theme" and set goals to accomplish in our donations. We aspire to unite and engage our whole community in order to make a huge difference.

Who are we?
A group of St. Paul’s pupils from all year groups who aim to help unprivileged communities and make a difference.
Leaders: Felipe Schwartz and Carolina Schwartz

Who do we help?
5 institutions:
- Acer
- Mão Amiga
- British Society
- TUCCA
- Liga Solidaria

Also, we partner with ONGs and private companies to leverage their social result.

Project outline:
Every month, we analyze different NGOs' conditions and necessities, and develop a monthly goal to help them overcome such unprecedented times.

September 2020 – Sports clothing and equipment – ACER and Mão Amiga
In September, the One Goal team established the theme of sports and was able to successfully help Acer and Mão Amiga, who were desperately needing sports materials and equipment. We were able to accomplish our goal and receive about  475  pairs of sports shoes,  645  pieces of clothing, and  196 pieces of sports equipment. It was a success.

October 2020 – Toys and computers for children’s day – Mão Amiga and TUCCA
735 toys were donated to Tucca and  12  computers/tablets were donated to Mão Amiga. It was a very special children's day for Tucca and Mão Amiga.

November 2020 – Raise money for Christmas presents - ACER, TUCCA, Mão Amiga, Liga Solidaria, and British Society
We managed to raise over  R$ 55,000  and reached our goal (of donating  2,110  presents) only 10 days into the campaign. Bauducco partnered with us and helped deliver 2,110 kits containing some of their products. We purchased  600  "Cestas Basicas" and delivered them to all 5 different institutions.

December 2020 – Second-hand clothes – Liga Solidaria
In December, we donated  1912  pieces of clothes,  123  pairs of shoes,  66  accessories, and  162  Christmas toys.

January 2021 – Books – Mão Amiga
806  books in English and  365  books in Portuguese.

February 2021 – “Back to school” – Mão Amiga
503 school materials donated to Mão Amiga, 5 computers, and  50 computer accessories.

March 2021 – Remote learning – Liga Solidaria, Acer and Mão Amiga
3070  English books,  515  Portuguese books, and  60  computers.

Finally:
The idea for the One Goal Project is not merely to help support the charities, but likewise to engage youngsters and promote social responsibility among the privileged ones. This year we aim to continue having monthly goals, however, this time, we want to expand the project so that we can impact the wider community and help them overcome this disastrous pandemic. If you are interested and would like to join, please do not hesitate to contact our leadership team.
Thank you.
