Post-Pandemic Lollapalooza in São Paulo

After being postponed in the past 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lollapalooza returned last month from the 25th-27th of March. These three days were filled with joy, excitement and emotion, following a long period of wait and uncertainty. Certainly, the Lollapalooza in Brazil are still taking safety-precautions against COVID-19 and demanding many factors such as vaccination certificates to enter the festival.  
On Saturday 26th, 2022, Miley Cyrus made an emotional show honouring Taylor Hawkins, the band Foo Fighters’ drummer who passed away in his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia, only two days before the Lollapalooza festival in Brazil. Miley Cyrus got emotional as she dedicates a song to Taylor Hawkins and left the crowd in tears when they listened to her tribute and “Angels Like You”, the song dedicated to Hawkins.  
Despite the large crowd, precautions were still taken to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Even though the use of masks was waived, everyone who entered the festival needed to have at least two doses of vaccination against COVID-19. After waiting for 2 years, the number of people in the event was larger than in previous years, with more than 300 thousand music fanatics finally getting to experience this unforgettable event
