By: M. Gonçalves Back in June 2017, four F4s who are now old pauleans took part in the world challenge expedition. Alongside a few other students, they rebuilt a primary school in Tanzania over a two-week period. The immense joy in the faces of the local children inspired these four pupils to initiate a project that would serve a similar purpose here in São Paulo. Eventually, they came up with an idea, they would build homes for disabled people living in precarious situations. Since the founding of the project, 6 homes have been built, as well as a playground for a school and one for a cancer institution. Recently, the project has made a partnership with Instituto Coexistencia to build homes with renewable materials and in much less time. The equipment and materials used for these constructions are bought using money raised in events as well as donations. If interested in donating, access https://www.maosnamassa.org for more information and follow @projeto_maosnamassa on Instagram and TikTok to keep up to date with upcoming events and constructions.
