Cristiano Ronaldo's New Era: Juventus

WARNING! Probably the most important (football) news you will hear since summer: Cristiano Ronaldo was transferred from Real Madrid to Juventus. This came as a shock to everyone including Real Madrid´s fans, the media, and even the Spanish club after hearing about the news.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a perfect curriculum that many idolize; he currently possesses five Balon d´Ors, a few gold boots, two “The Best” trophies and a numerous amount of trophies. He is also considered by many the best player in the world and the greatest player of all time (even better than Pele!). He is known as a great team leader as he was the captain for both Real Madrid and Portugal´s national team. He managed to single handily score hat tricks on great teams such as Spain and also won a Euro Cup with the national team.

So if being at his career's peak, why would Cristiano Ronaldo decide to leave Real Madrid in order to be transferred to Juventus Football Club? Why would Ronaldo turn his back on one of the best teams in the world that not only loved him but also made him work to his best abilities to be the man that he is today? Real Madrid is the team that gave birth and continuity to his greatness. The following points are the main reasons why Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to be transferred to Juventus Football Club.
  • Firstly, Cristiano Ronaldo faced a two-year pension in prison in Spain or instead would have to pay nineteen million euros of penalty fee. Ronaldo faced justice for the second time during his period in Real Madrid. The Spanish law says one has to declare how much you profited that year in order to pay a certain amount of taxes. Wrongly, Cristiano Ronaldo didn´t declare the right amount of money by accident (or not, possibly) and paid fewer taxes than he should have. Nineteen million euros might be too excessive in your opinion but he had already been involved in problems with the law and the state for the exact same reason.
  • There was also a conspiracy that Cristiano Ronaldo´s relationship with Real Madrid become colder and less stable throughout the years. Some sources state that Ronaldo found out about an operation from the management team to kick him out of the team. He, therefore, reacted furiously and got into arguments with Real Madrid´s board for letting this happen.
  • Similarly, Real Madrid began seeing Cristiano Ronaldo as a legend and not as a top player at the time. They thought it would be more profitable to look for a new player (or make Bale a superstar) in order to keep Real Madrid’s streak of winning a trophy every season.

Why would Cristiano like to leave the city of Madrid? He was already set in with his wife and his two kids (one recently born). In my opinion, the only feasible reason could be of an internal decision from within the club, that has been prevented from reaching the media. Nothing else. Ronaldo has more than enough money to pay the fee that the government was setting. There is no other way.

You said that Ronaldo `was the captain for both Real Madrid...´ but had never been the captain of Real, that was Sergio Ramos, and you also said ´his two kids´ but he actually has 4.
