Final SPHSL Basketball Girls

After a stellar season and maintaining an invictus position throughout the tournament, the girls were set for the SPHSL Final. On the 9th of November, the varsity girls played a home game against PACA. The girls faced the final with excitement and determination, the moment they have been waiting for had finally arrived.
 
The first-quarter started off strong, with a solid offense and defence the girls opened a wide 12-point lead ahead of PACA. The team was in a great position early on in the game. The second quarter wasn’t as great as the first with rising tensions, the girls felt the pressure of the match. In the third quarter, they returned to the court with a clear mind, ready to achieve victory. The final and fourth quarter the lions channelled all their energy, all their training, and dedication into the last eight minutes of the game. The girls conquered victory over PACA with a score of 30x22. Becoming the champions of the SPHSL tournament.
 
The girls' team has achieved numerous victories throughout the season and have made a great job of representing the lions with ambition and pride. With the SPHSL final and season over, the girls now look towards training so that next year they can carry the champions title in both the ISSL and SPHSL tournaments.
