In 2014 he debuted his career in Criciúma were played till April 2016 where he signed a 5-year contract with Palmeiras, which did not last long as in December 2017 he loaned out to Atlético Mineiro and as July 2018 approached Palmeiras had already negotiated his leave to China in China he did not have a great career as his most impactful game was the game he debuted but not having any notable performances. but in august 27 2021 he was officially announced by Corinthians.
He chose number 123, an awkward and atypical number, his reasoning for 23 is that it was the day his son was born, and as veteran star Fagner already had the number 23 he added the 1 in front. In an interview he said “quero Fazer historia com a camisa do Corinthians”. He was presented September 3rd as Corinthians new striker. On September 7th, his premiere game, against Juventude. During minute 31 of the game, a cross coming from Cassio (Corinthians goalkeeper) resulted in a beautiful header by Ricardo Bueno into the goal. As the game continued, and losing by one, Corinthians fans, stuck watching at home due to quarantine, were hoping they did not fall to the same fate they did in the first match up against Juventude, but 8 minutes later Róger Guedes has a chance, a foul committed gave him a free kick just outside the penalty area were he sends a missile flying straight to the top left corner of the goal, bringing the score 1 x 1 and ending the game in a tie. The rest of his career was a complete success scoring his first hat trick in 2022 and having one of his goal being selected as the best goal of the first round of the Brazilian championship. In that year he lost the final of the “Copa do Brasil” against Flamego in the penalties. 2023 was just as good as 2022 as he surpassed Paolo Guerrero and became Corinthians top 4 scorer of all time. But good times can’t last forever Corinthians fans were sad to see his move to Qatar in the middle of the “Copa do Brasil.” In the start, it was not so bad as Corinthians beat Atlético-MG 3-1 in penalties having 3 incredible saves by Cássio passing the quarter finals of the tournament and going to the semifinals, were they swiftly beat São Paulo 2 x 1. But as good times passed disaster struck, in the second game Corinthians defense were sleeping letting São Paulo score 2 goals. And down 3 x 2 in the aggregate and without our star striker Corinthians were eliminated by São Paulo in the semi-finals. His career in Qatar is still developing as a 4 year 10-million-dollar contract will last until 2027. But his career is promising and for the future he might be drafted to play with the Brazilian team.
