1.    What are your plans for Stuart House this year?

Our plans are to ensure every single member of the Stuart House participates meaningfully, contributing to the House by taking part in extra-curricular events, winning benes, taking part in the Green Week activities, answering School Festival’s riddles and doing the Rowing challenge. Also, we have asked for the contribution of representatives of Year groups to assist with the planning and running of events and share ideas with the House team.

2.    In your opinion what does Stuart House has to do to win the overall competition?

As it now stands, Stuart is 65 points behind Windsor. My understanding is that they have won the House Cup for the past 9 years or so and we cannot let it happen again!!! For that reason, I hereby issue my humble call to arms to every single Stuart pupil to give their best in the most important event of the year: the Sport’s Day on the 8th of June. This momentous event can grant us the historical opportunity of overtaking Windsor and regaining the House Cup title, last won the in the distant year of 2007. We can do it!

3.    In your opinion what does Stuart has to improve as a House?”

We are great House! We have most spirited, fun, enthusiastic group of people of all Houses. I am grateful I was chosen to be the Head of House for this amazing house. However, I do believe we must do better when it comes to the overall bene vs. non-satis situation. In the last House Point count, in spite of doing well on the Maths competition, we have lost a number of key House Points because we underperformed in terms of benes.

4.    What are results that you are expecting?

We have strong athletes, as it has been the tradition in Stuart. I am obviously expecting positive results. However, for that to happen, we must act as a group and fill in every single spot in the Sport’s Day.

5.    Are there any ideas of possible competitions that you would like to implement in the school?

When I was Head of House two years ago, we used to run a number of fun year-round competition such as the Girl’s Wii Boxing competition, Guitar Hero and FIFA competitions. I would love to bring back fun competition such as those.

6.    What will you do to encourage House spirit?

I will make sure the House is present in many more events throughout the year and convey that they are a time for pupils to connect, compete and have fun!

7.    What do you and your House Captain plan to do next year?

We plan to reach out and listen to pupil’s suggestion more often. We believe that with the amazing House Year Group representatives we can establish a line of communication to put in place many more activities for next year.
