World Cup Rivalry: Brazil x Germany

​We all know that Germany and Brazil have won many World Cups and are battling against each other to win the 2018 World Cup. If Germany wins this year, both Brazilians and Germans will have won the same number of 1st Place trophies: 5.

Brazil’s football team has won overall 5 Cups and attended all of the 20 tournaments. However, the latest World Cup they won was in 2002, and it can be argued that the team's football technique as a whole has decreased. Brazil is known for many great players, some of which include Neymar, Pelé, Gabriel Jesus and many others. This year the team is very strong and the players are looking forward to bring the trophy home.

Germany has won 4 World Cups and is anxious to win their fifth one in order to reach Brazil's record. It is the only team that has stood on the podium every decade they participated in the tournament. Moreover, Germany has won the most recent World Cup - 2014. We are all looking forward to watching this year's tournament and see who will take the trophy home!
