Kitchin is a small, highly rated and upbeat Japanese restaurant that recently opened in the neighbourhood of Itaim. Its atmosphere and decoration is contemporary and youthful. The tables are quite close together, but it is still comfortable and pleasant.

In a Saturday night, at about 10pm, my friend and I waited about 30 minutes for a table, which is nothing out of the ordinary.

I am an enormous fan of sushi and, to be honest, I was quite impressed with the variety of options in the menu as well as the way it was delivered.

The taste of the sushi itself is nothing life changing but I would be lying if I said that I have tasted much better sushi here in Sao Paulo.

Kitchin has a youthful atmosphere, a good location and high-quality food. It is definitely worth a visit, and I recommend it.
