DIY Christmas Jar Decor

Materials:

• A pair of scissors
• A mason jar
• A red ribbon (I got one with a small heart pendent)
• A small candle
• A lighter/matches
• A paint/sponge brush
• A paint palette
• White paint
• Tape

​Steps:
1.Choose a design (preferably Christmas themed) and stick some tape to your mason jar according to the design you have chosen. In my case I chose a Christmas tree, but you can choose anything that you please such as a reindeer, star or snowflake etc.

​2.After finishing gluing on the tape to the jar, squeeze out some white paint on to your paint palette. Pick up your paint/sponge brush and paint the entirety of the jar with the white paint. Let the paint dry a bit, not completely, and remove the tape from the mason jars, leaving your design unpainted.
TIP: make sure to cover the tips of the tape to ensure a clean and sleek design after removing the tape.

3.Now you can wait until the jar is completely dry and when it finally is put the small candle into the jar.

​4.Get the red ribbon and tie a bow on the top of the jar.

5.Now all that's left for you to do is to get a lighter or matches and light the candle (careful to not burn yourself!)
