Gekkō by Bad Bunny

​Bad Bunny was requested for a feature on a new creation, but this was a different feature; not musical. David Grutman, part of one of Miami’s biggest restaurant groups (Groot Hospitality), and Bad Bunny have combined their ‘forces’ to open a new restaurant in Brickell, Miami. This new restaurant, sibling to the famous Komodo, will be a Japanese steakhouse at the SLS Lux Brickell Tower.
David Grutman has already previously partnered with another musician, Pharrell Williams, to open the successful Swan Club and Bar Bevy. Nonetheless, his partnership with Bad Bunny came as a shock to Miamians and reggaeton fans all around the world. He has had a lasting influence on the Miami culture spreading his music across all clubs and influencing people to listen to Spanish songs, whilst standing against sexism in his community. His name is known worldwide and carries a strong reputation.
This new restaurant has influenced many people to buy flight tickets for the opening, which is forecasted to be in late July of 2022. With Groot Hospitality’s success in establishing well-known restaurants and Bad Bunny’s stylistic advice and global influence, Gekkō is sure to be a success and a new addition to the Brickell cuisine.
