Van Der Graff In the last two to three years, the entire world has been impacted by a global pandemic; as a result, millions of people have faced problems with their mental health due to isolation from society. In addition, studies showcase negative physiological consequences such as confusion, anger, and post-traumatic stress symptoms.
Mental health can be defined as a “state of well-being in which every individual realizes their potential to cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and can contribute to his or her community.” Learning the importance of mental health in our lives is essential for multiple reasons involving our psychological, emotional, and social well-being. Having the proper stability, a healthy routine, and controlling how we feel, act, and think makes a remarkable difference in our daily lives, from childhood to adulthood. Many people may question what they can do to look after themselves; here are some great examples of what to do:
