It's the time of the year when designers present they're new fall-winter collection. But what you must be wondering is, what's new for this season? 1- Wild fur has always been a MUST in fall winter collections from the past years. This year, multicoloured fur has come stronger than ever! The "winter blues" have been taking over Miu Miu, Prada and Fendi's trenchcoats. In the other hand, some designer such as Michale Kors, Dries Van Noten and Louis Vuitton chose to stick to the wildness of a classic fur colour.


2- Scarf prints is a trend that has definitely surprised most fashion audience. The scarf's shape, opens doors for it to be used in various different ways like shirts, skirts, belts and beach accessories. Due to that, Gucci and Alexandre McQueen have reinvented the scarf trend for this season by adding a hippie vibe to florals and bandana prints.


3- Shoulder pads are back for good!!! It was first created in the 1800's in order to protect football players from injuries. By the 20th century, women had already adopted shoulder pads for themselves, and was mostly used to give a masculine touch to women's clothing at the time. This year they have the aim to bring elegance, movement and style to both suit jackets and coats. The designers who had significantly impacted shoulder pads along  history is Christian Dior (20th century) and Balenciaga (nowadays). 


4- With time, people have been dragging sportswear even more into the fashion world. Tracksuits, ski jackets and fleeces have been definitely taking over this year's collection. Besides standing out for its unbelievable comfort, they add a casual and modern touch to your look. In addition to that the pieces are easygoing and easy to match turning it a excellent option for a busy day.


5- Last but not least, lets talk about DENIM. They may seem old but never out of style. This year's fall/winter is focused on different layers of denim. Including different sizes, colours, texture and pieces of jeans. They are normally known for fitting casual/everyday outfits but this time, head to toe denim is willing to cause an impact of maximum elegance. Dior, Calvin Klein and Stella McCartney have turned jean outfits impeccable to a whole other level.
