Trend Alert: Sport and Tailoring Mix

The European winter has gone by and trends have been collected from all of the Fashion Week events. During these spectacular weeks, a new authentic streetstyle trend was spotted in the streets of Paris: the mixture of textures in sport style and tailoring. 
 
Tailoring brings formality and elegance to the look’s composition. On the other hand, incorporating sporty elements to the look adds a cool and more casual touch.
 
Sporting elements like sneakers and oversized pieces adds life and looks amazing on the streets of the European winter fashion weeks.

• Oversized jackets: Oversized pieces like the duotone and teddy jackets are being layered the top of a tailored set and is extremely valuable to display a contemporary look.

 

• Sneakers: the so-called "ugly sneakers" are new large shoes, which puts on a contrasting element to the outfit. They would also be a great deal to match with this type of outfit. It brings a cool and casual look and cancels out the idea of seriousness of the tailoring.

 

• Fanny packs: The trend solidified last year and are now worn as shoulder bags, rather than just around the waist. Fanny packs add a more quotidian element and a "hype” attitude to the person wearing it
